happy new year everyone!! i'll be back in the studio today returning phone calls and e-mails...i took an extended holiday break this year to spend time with my guys, but also to take time to organize & declutter, both at home and at the studio..the beginning of the new year always seems like a good time to do that! and boy does it feel GOOD!
there are a couple things i wanted to share with you about what's going on at the studio...but first...
i. must. confess.
2008 was a tough year for many...for me it was very humbling in many ways.
early in the year, my dad suffered a heart attack and had to undergo bypass surgery...thankfully he is doing amazing! but it was definitely a wake up call--life is a gift and it shouldn't be taken for granted!
then in early summer, my wonderful friend and office manager susan left the studio so she could return to her full time career...and the downturn in the economy prevented me from hiring someone to replace her. while i succeeded for a little while in juggling everything, it quickly became apparent how much i suck at all that! organizing, scheduling, staying on track, bookkeeping and more...ugh!
well, i want to thank all of you that hung in there with me, and even more big thanks to my mom and my friend terri for getting me back on track! we've reorganized & restructured behind the scenes...and can't wait to WOW you in 2009!
